Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and TalkToBuddha (operated by Hai Vu or its affiliates) governing your use of our mobile application and related services (“Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility & Acceptance

If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Subscriptions & Billing

Auto‑renewable subscriptions provide access to premium features (e.g., extended chat, meditation content, scriptures).
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless you turn off auto‑renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Manage or cancel subscriptions in your device’s Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions (see Apple: Manage Subscriptions).
Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when purchasing a subscription.
Prices may vary by plan and region; taxes may apply. Prices shown in‑app are the final amounts charged by Apple.
Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies (see Apple Billing & Subscriptions).

3. Acceptable Use

No probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of systems or networks.
No access to non‑public areas of the Services.
No reverse engineering or attempts to derive source code.
No interference with users, hosts, or networks (including spam or abusive behavior).
No unlawful content or infringement of others’ rights; no impersonation or misrepresentation.

4. Content & Intellectual Property

The Services and all associated content are protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to use the app for personal, non‑commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

5. AI Disclosures

AI‑generated outputs may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. Use your own judgment before relying on them for personal, medical, legal, or financial decisions. You remain responsible for your use of the outputs.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for any violation of these Terms or if required by law. You may stop using the app at any time. Termination does not entitle you to a refund from us; see Apple for billing matters.

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Services.

8. Changes to the Terms

We may modify these Terms. We will update the “Last updated” date above and, if changes are material, provide notice in‑app.
